Natural science and economics: theory and application

Abstract
Development in human society entailed social sciences (such as economics) to emerge on the basis of natural sciences. For some time, natural sciences and economics have interacted progressively. Such interdisciplinary research between economics and natural sciences (physics, chemistry, geoscience, biological science) are summarized. The interaction between physics and economics is quite extensive. Time series dynamic correlation studies and energy market predictions have been drawn from physics. The cross-disciplinary interactions between chemistry and economics is relatively rudimentary, some preliminary outlook of future developments are summarized. Economic geography provides new ideas for the study of economic problems. The use of biology to analyze economic problems has made remarkable achievements. Some interdisciplinary subjects (such as neuroeconomics) have developed rapidly and achieved fruitful results.
