Laser ranging sprint gait and parameters

Sprint data collected by laser ranging is analyzed by data pre-processing, wavelet packet analysis, waveform and parameter estimation, sprint gait waveform in observation interval is estimated. Sprint parameters such as average speed, number of steps, step length and frequency are obtained. Laser ranging data acquisition was done for several training subjects in multiple testers and national track and field athletes. Estimated gait and parameters have been found to accurately reflect actual state of the sprint process, verifying the validity and accuracy of the method.
