Abstract
The parameters of city association network in New Western Land-Sea Corridor, such as urban centricity, strength of city association, average path and network coefficient, were used to analyze city network structure and characteristics, and interrupt model was used for in-depth analysis of network resilience. The corridor presents a pattern of Chengdu-Chongqing metropolitan area as the main center with provincial capitals as sub-centers.Decreased level of city network changed the urban network from unipolar attraction centered on Chengdu to Chengdu-Chongqing metropolitan area.Corresponding provincial capitals were transformed into multiple sub-centers.This network presents a preferential connection, and its sub-central city presents a strong radiation capacity.Failure strategy based on node degree value should have the greatest damage to network performance.Resident living standard, urban development potential and labor cost and resource advantage all have some influence on network pattern.Development modes of “growth pole”, “axis” and “area” are hereby proposed, corresponding urban nodes should be protected in particular to improve overall network resilience.
