Estimation of genetic inheritance in case-control studies

For selective genetic models, risk alleles were co-dominant coded．Logistic regression was used to select genetic model in case-control study．Numerical simulations show that our new method is more effective than Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium test to choose the genetic model．Applications to six single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) for breast cancer and eight SNPs for Type 2 Diabetes further show the feasibility and effectiveness of our proposed method．
