Optimal sensitivity for unequal arm time-delay interferometry

Abstract
A new algorithm can obtain optimal sensitivity curves directly, without relying on time-delay interferometry configuration orthogonalization process. When applied to both first- and second-generation time-delay interferometry, the sensitivity curves remain robust under various arm lengths and baseline configurations. When the base number is increased from 3 to 5, the sensitivity curve is significantly optimized. With only three bases and within the frequency range of 0.001 to 0.100 Hz, the selection of specific bases affects the performance of optimal sensitivity curve.
